Experiences of the Post Office (esp. at Hamilius)?

Has anyone else found the post office at Hamilius to be really dreadful service?

This isn't a gripe about the P&T in general, as the one near the station seems great, as does my local one in Howald. What you should expect really - polite, smiley, helpful and giving you what you ask and pay them for, and offering you advice if there is a better service available than the option you've gone for.

But when I've used the post office at Hamilius, I have on several occasions found the service to be appalling and rude. One time, I got my ticket, my number came up, then another guy with no ticket just went straight to the counter and was served. I immediately went to the counter, right behind this man, showed the cashier my valid ticket but he just tutted and waved me away. The lady immediately after me witnessed this whole thing, and as it was 7:30 am and there was no-one else waiting, she said I could go when her number came up and she would go after me. So I went up to the counter when the next number came up, but the man got extremely stroppy and said I had abused the ticket programme, and said I had to go and get a new ticket. When I explained what had happened, he didn't want to know.

Then this morning I had a parcel to send to France, containing some jewellery. When my number came up, I went to the desk but the woman behind it was chatting with her colleague for a full 30 seconds before turning her attention to me. She didn't say hello, how can I help, etc., she just look at me grumpily. If you're busy, then why press the button to call the next customer?? Anyway, so I asked her how much it would cost to send it signed-for/recorded due to its contents. She just printed out a label, stuck it on and charged me the rate for just normal postage. So she completely ignored my question! She was chatting to her colleague in the next booth (who was also allegedly serving someone) the whole time - I think, like a teenage boy at a computer game, she just completely blanked my question out/ignored it.

I wonder if anyone else has found the post office at Hamilius to be completely disgraceful in terms of politeness and service.
